OPEN LETTER TO THE IRS ABOUT KAUFFMAN, SCHLANGER, SHRILLS, AND SHUMAN

To Whom This May Concern,

            My name is Marcus Miller. In 2012, IRS agent Migna Rodriguez was contacted about questionable checks and signatures on the checks. These checks were from the Estate of Albert R. Miller, an irrevocable trust. At the time, I was just granted the trusteeship of this estate that was in Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to do a full audit and accounting. I was asked to contact the IRS just in case there was something questionable. I met with Mrs. Rodriguez and she went over each and every photocopy of the checks provided to me by Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s attorneys William T. Mandia and Marissa Parker of Stradley Ronin Stephens and Young. When Mrs. Rodriguez inspected these photocopies, she said even though the account was established in Pennsylvania, the money was laundered and the checks were written in Boca Raton Florida. She took the photocopies I provided her with and told me she was sending them down to the Miami fraudulent department of the IRS and that I should give you ample time to go through them. I have established in Orphan’s Court that my grandmother, who was one of three trustees to the estate mishandled and hid this account from another willed trustee.

The original trustees of my grandfather’s estate were Elizabeth “Lakie” Miller (my grandmother) deceased in 2009, Jordan M. Miller (my father) deceased in 2003, and Leonard Fuiman (my grandmother’s brother) deceased in 2006. In 2007, my grandmother was declared incapacitated by the Broward County Courts. However, she was Baker Acted in 2004 by the State of Florida and was seen by the Florida Neuropsychiatric Institute who began to adjust her chemical imbalance with medication. This information was hidden and fought against after it was brought to the attention of the Broward County Courts and the Philadelphia Orphans’ Court. My grandmother had signed a Will stating that her attorney Alan C. Kauffman would be her designated guardian. They did not go to Philadelphia Orphans’ Court to assign Mr. Kauffman as a trustee to the estate. My mother, Loretta Miller, through my father’s Will, was willed the trusteeship of trustee to my grandfather’s estate.

Alan C. Kauffman, along with his associate Randy J. Schlanger, fought tooth and nail to prevent my mother and myself from investigating or looking at any of the checks that were written on the estate. There were several red flags that came up that caused questions to arise. The first of many was the dissolving of a Marital Trust, which was irrevocable and to the understanding of what I was told by my attorney Thomas McGowan, that that trust money was 100% hers to be used to pay bills. The second trust was an irrevocable Residuary Trust which was supposed to be what my grandmother was supposed to live off of after the Marital Trust was used up. My grandmother had many new friends, all extremely younger than she was and she bragged that she could buy and sell them on a daily basis. They managed to con her and fill her up with so much hate against my mother and myself. They also told her that they were going to protect her and her money against us. In the beginning, they had her sign blank checks which they enjoyed thousands upon thousands of dollars until they realized they can forge her signature since the banks knew who they were and didn’t question their cashing of checks. They ended up writing these checks out for cash with different signatures on the signing line and some of them endorsed by the name of E. Lakie Miller, most by Randy J. Schlanger, and a few by a John Schrills. Items were purchased from places such as “A Drawer Full of Lingerie” where a $150.00 bustier was purchased for a woman in her late 90’s with osteoporosis. There were also three checks written to Best Buy for approximately $2,100.00. When I looked at the Best Buy receipts, they purchased televisions, multiple iPods, a portable DVD player, a surround sound system and DVDs to shows and movies my grandmother wouldn’t watch. Another check was for porch lights for Randy J. Schlanger’s pool.

All of the signatures on these checks were forged according to Mrs. Rodriguez. My mother and I gave Mrs. Rodriguez copies of everything I had including a letter from Alan C. Kauffman instructing Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to increase the laundering of the money from $2,000.00 to $8,000.00 from the Albert R. Miller Estate to an account called the Lakie Living Trust where he was the self-appointed trustee and beneficiary of the Trust along with Randy J. Schlanger. According to a Palm Beach Sherriff’s Office reports, Randy J. Schlanger received $900,000.00 and Alan C. Kauffman received $500,000.00. I believe John Schrills received either $100,000.00 or $200,000.00 and the rest was divided and given among minor players in this scam and to charities.

My mother and I have contacted the PBSO and they refuse to investigate this situation because (1) according to them Alan C. Kauffman is an “esteemed” attorney and Randy J. Schlanger who works for him as a medical surrogate is an “esteemed” person as well but she and her family have police records of drug and alcohol abuse as well as being violent. (2) The PBSO has declared my mother as being “crazy” because she made complaints of physical and mental abuse that these people caused my grandmother. (3) There was separate complaint unknown to me complaint by my half-brother David Joel Miller witnessing not only abuse by Randy J. Schlanger, John Schrills, and Alan C. Kauffman but also Randy J. Schlanger admitting that she was in possession of the checks and ledger of the Estate of Albert R. Miller. Two (2) days later, the Department of Children and Families came down to investigate. They were shown the checkbook which was Randy J. Schlanger’s possession and saw a pre-signed check while the rest were not. DCF refused to do anything about it because Alan C. Kauffman is an attorney.

In November of 2006, Randy J. Schlanger, Alan C. Kauffman, Dr. Phillip E. Heller, and Esquire D. Services filmed a video of my grandmother taking a Mini-Mental State Health Exam and she scored a 12/30 which shows severe dementia but Dr. Phillip E. Heller stated she had executive decision-making powers for her age. For those her age, 12 is average because they have dementia. My grandmother was hidden from family members and tax collectors and was found six months later by the Florida Medical Mental Health Team assigned by the Broward County Courts. They stated she was easily manipulated and had severe dementia. They also stated her prognosis was poor. I have copies of these reports.

While fighting Alan C. Kauffman in court to get the estate papers and account numbers, he claimed he had no knowledge of such. Charles E. Shuman, who was the account manager of the estate allowed Alan C. Kauffman to become the self-appointed trustee where he made large sums of money by dissolving the account, moving money over to the Lakie Trust, and having it managed by a Fred Hopkins who he shared commission fees with. Basically, he was double dipping. Close to $2,000,000.00 was moved from my grandfather’s Estate to the Lakie Trust where Alan C. Kauffman was the sole trustee because he attempted to remove Legg Mason from the trusteeship after my grandmother was declared incapacitated by the Broward County Courts. Legg Mason began fighting in Court to have Alan C. Kauffman removed as guardian. I have copy of a filing. Charles E. Shuman left Legg Mason and after Alan C. Kauffman put through a fax a letter to increase the amount of money wired to the Lakie Trust monthly from my grandfather’s estate. The Residuary Trust did not have a manager to watch it and it was completely ignored by Legg Mason, now Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. This account was being laundered and drained by Alan C. Kauffman and his associates.

The hearing to remove Alan C. Kauffman was dated for December of 2009. Prior to that, Magistrate Rita Berry put an order in for the financial guardian to check on the health and wellbeing of my grandmother. When he showed up to the home in August of 2009, Alan C. Kauffman and Randy J. Schlanger had moved her out. My grandmother, according to the death certificate, allegedly died November 22, 2009. I didn’t find out about her death until a month later. When I finally received the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney statements, my mother and I found a letter written to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney was no longer the guardian of my grandmother because of her death. This was filed in Palm Beach County Court. However, the money from my grandfather’s estate was still being removed for two (2) months after her death and then an attempt was made eight months after her death. By then, a death certificate was sent to MSSB. MSSB completely ignored the letter that was sent to them that my grandmother was declared incapacitated and the fact that Alan C. Kauffman had no standing with my grandfather’s estate and that three (3) new trustees had to be assigned and that one of these was my mother because Charles Shuman hated her.

My mother and I have found that all of the information that was on the death certificate was incorrect, that there is no police report of her death, bodies cannot be removed by an undertaker as he said he did, the undertaker is best friends with Alan C. Kauffman, there is no health certificate or removal permit for the removal of the body from Florida to Pennsylvania, the Assisted Living Facility said they have no record of her dying there in November of 2009 because she wasn’t there, and my mother and I are on a blacklist by the two funeral homes who claimed to have handled her.

We believe she was murdered. As long as my grandmother was alive, Alan C. Kauffman could be removed and lose all that he had scammed for. We also believe that my grandmother was brought to Randy J. Schlanger’s home because a neighbor saw her there a week before she died. My grandmother was being screamed at by one of Randy J. Schlanger’s daughters who was on drugs and alcohol and who is also violent.

Not only was my grandmother scammed out of money, but checks were forged, there were illegal wire transfers from one account to another, and illegal faxes made to MSSB. I’m asking for an investigation and to find out what your office saw on the checks by Mrs. Rodriguez so I can bring this information to the Secret Service who handles fraudulent wire transfers and check forgery. The Philadelphia Police Department was looking for Elizabeth in reference to Eva S Fuimans murder. Marcella Fuiman Dougherty pushed Eva down and broke her leg.  The signature on the Will did not match the signatures on her checking account.  I guess Elizabeth leaked someone off in the family when they looked at the will and all of Eva's properties went to Elizabeth and Lenny. Both of them got the full amount listed on the Will

I hired an attorney and he hired the detective. We found her from a check written to the home.

The Home was damaged from the hurricanes Frances and Jean . The home closed and before it did Elizabeth was Baker Acted. It was funny that there was no medical records or any other records like who visited her or when she was allowed out shopping. Those were all missing. A note of Baker Act would be on her record including the visit of her Psychiatrist. It should also say what medications she was taking, her vitals . Everyone else's family we contacted had those records.  I was told by the attorney of Elysum off the record that Susan King got all the records from a John Shrills as soon as she found out Elizabeth was getting another attorney. Even though the Cunninghams extorted Elizabeth out of over $30,000.00 they did do her a favor of getting rid of Susan King.

Would you live here? This attorney forced my Mother in Law to live in these conditions after a hurricane and would not allow her to call me to rescue her!

Sleeping arrangements during and after the hurricane Jean and Frances. I called the red cross to find her since she was kidnapped by her attorney and a note on her form stated not to let anyone know she was there. You can see that above.  My Mother in Law told her attorney she wanted to call me and ask me to get her . The attorney Susan King said no they don't want you. Susan King was only after her money. She was worth over $2,000,000.00 in one account.the other account she was worth $1,500,000.00

My mother was becoming incompetent from Alzheimer's disease and her relatives and friends were threatening her to go to a lawyer and sign her money to them. the extorters weren't charged. I had to go to court and declare my mother incompetent so they couldn't make her sign anything. I hired Susan King of Boca Raton, FL to represent me and my mother. Susan King first ran a background check on me and told me that I could be my mother's guardian with lesser restrictions with no problem. Half way thru the proceedure she lied and said I have a felony conviction in my past and couldn't be my mother's guardian. I was conned. She placed a friend named bonnie stevens as property guardian and  and I was in charge of my mother. When all was signed they started making threats against my life. I realized this was an extortion kidnapping racket on the elderly and I was conned into signing a contract and giving her 10,000 dollars from my mother's estate. I made a promise to Jordan to take care of his mother the week he died. He told me his mother was crazy ( already knew that) and to get her the help she needed because he didn't have the guts to do it all his life. I knew that also.

Elizabeth Lakie Miller told me she was top in her high school at South Philadelphia High for Girls. Let me put it this way I was no angel in High School. I cut classes because I was bored. I wrote up teachers notes and sold them because I was an artist and was able to copy teachers signatures. I made and sold hall passes, I was bored in class because they didnt go fast enough for me so I day dreamed. I went to summer school for the classes.  I did  well in summer school because it was only 6 weeks of class and they covered everything fast and I got A's. I rather go to summer school or to a fast pace school then sit in a classroom with teachers who were bored with their work and who bored me.

I got the background on the Lakie name .

 But let me explain how she got that name. It is very simple. My mother had a friend named Sylvia Nolen.  I liked Sylvia the moment I met her.  I liked her husband Ruby also. Sylvia knew "Lakie" since she was a child and living on 2nd Street. The Jewish Community on and off South Street all knew each other . When a male child reached 13 everyone was invited to the Bar Mitzvah. A child was born and named in the shul everyone came. Everyone celebrated. Sylvia knew Rose, "Lakie's" mother,. after "Lakie" was born Rose got pregnant again. All of Rose's babies were born in the house and there were no birth certificates or were they registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Rose gave birth to a baby girl and named her Leah and called her Lakie. Elizabeth was jealous of her newborn sister and decided to smother her with a pillow. Lakie died and Elizabeth took on the name. The body of the baby was buried in the back yard so that Elizabeth would not be charged with murder. Instead the family had her committed to Byberry Mental Institution where she went through electric shock treatment.

After I married Jordan, "Lakie" told people , everyone who would listen to her that I was committed in Byberry and had electric shock treatments. I am an artist and I knew as an artist I had to educate myself in a combined field to eat .  I went to Temple and took Graduate classes in Art Therapy and one of my internships was at Byberry with the Special Education Mentally Challenged Children of Woodhaven School part of Temple University.  I also worked for the Philadelphia Public Schools were I was sent to the Key School in South Philadelphia to work with the Special Needs programs on a one on one bases. This was before I married Jordan. ( By the way I got an A in the Art Therapy Classes and loved it). When I was engaged to Jordan "Lakie " asked me what I do. I told her I was working part time for Shriners Hospital . That I was trained at Temple University and worked at Byberry and the Public schools for training. Her face turn white then red.  She said something funny to me which I should have taken it as a foreshadowing. She mentioned the electric therapy rooms and were they still in use. I told her that was not my department and where they kept the criminally insane was in another building that was being closed.

She insisted on going shopping with me to find a wedding dress. I found one that I loved and she tried to talk me out of it. I was getting 2nd thoughts on marrying Jordan because of his mother. Lakie talked vile about Jordan's first wife and I could see that the issues she had came from Lakie's imagination or her confabulation of stories she watch on the soap opera's.  Jordan asked me to marry him again and flashed a ticket to Las Vegas with the information of a civil wedding. No Lakie. Sounded good to me. We eloped.

"Lakie" told everyone when I was pregnant that Jordan and I were not married when I conceived. And that Marc was not Jordan's son. Alan Kauffman her Guardian Attorney as well as Randy Schlanger  repeated this.

She also said I was not my mother and fathers child that I was found wondering and they took me in and I was not Jewish.  Alan Kauffman her Guardian Attorney  as well as Randy Schlanger repeated this. Which according to Jewish Law my son Marc was not Jewish since Judaism is on the mother's side.

To show you the name Lakie was not her name and was used because she wanted her mother to love her more because she took on the name of a sister she smothered we have Jordan's birth Certificate.

We have a US Censor that she used for her passport As soon as I find it I will add that on in another blog

Let me give you some background, Elizabeth Lakie Miller was a thief and I caught her several times stealing out of an apartment I rented from her after I married Jordan I sold my own home and moved in with Jordan because E. Lakie Miller didnt want Jordan to move out. If Jordan moved she would loose control over him.

We owned 647 Bainbridge St to 639 Bainbridge St in Philadelphia  The property 639  Bainbridge is where my mother in law kept all her crap including things she stole out of the apartments she rented out. It was so bad when we switch insurance companies I was told to get her to clear it out, She had papers and wood surrounding a gas burner which heated the property. There were rats, roaches in the property along with fleas. My father in law had a heart attack in there and she got me. I asked her to call 911 which she said she didnt know how to do it. She was claiming the evil was coming out in pain. My father in laws heart stopped and I began CPR on him and placed a lead with a saline drip.He came to and the ENT (engine 11) arrived and I rode with them in the truck. I was pregnant at the time with my twins and I helped them pick him up and manage to lift him over the crap she had in there. There was an path of just 6 inches to walk through. My mother in law was a  hoarder. Every place she used had this stuff, My husband and I had to move all this junk over to make another pile because she said they were antiques, We got an antique dealer in to make her an offer and they told us they will charge us $1000. to remove it. It was worthless. My mother in law said she was a real estate developer because she had rental properties and each one had a violation citation from the city on them and she didn't have a rental license or up to date on fire code standards.  

We managed to get her to move everything out but before she did she tried to sue us. I was losing my property insurance and I got a condemnation on the property because of her crap. We got it removed and then she yelled I had $250,000 hidden in those boxes. That was a lie. Because Jordan went through each box to see what was good and what wasn't . She had old kotex boxes from the 1920's, old clothes that had mold and was rotting away. 

They claim hoarders have a mental issue and after telling Jordan this we went to a family counselor to figure out how to handle this. The apartment we were living in the basement we had the same problem. I got lung infections where I could not breath in the apartment and decided to buy a home and move. My In laws at that point told use they would clear all this out and never did. I bought the home The settlement was the week I was suppose to deliver with my twins I got very sick and then went into labor. One baby was born deceased and my Marc was born healthy, I brought Marc home and he developed ear infections throat infection allergies and our home was ready and we moved. All my illness I had cleared up and my mother in law decided she was not going to talk to me again. That was the best day of my life. The best 2 years of my life

But Jordan wanted a family relationship with his mother, I was fine with his father. He always came over when it was time to eat and I fed him, made him fresh coffee , he loved sampling my homemade chicken soup and matzah balls. I made middle eastern food and he just could not get enough of it. 

I attended family holidays meals and fell asleep or pretended to go to sleep since I knew if I spoke to her I would be accused of something I didn't do.  I kept my distance with her but was friends with her sister Eva. Again Eva was over my house all the time. When I would see her walking I would pull the car over and offer her a ride. I would walk to her home with a shovel when it snowed and shoveled and salt the sidewalk.  Eva was my favorite of Jordan's family plus we were both in the Eastern Star and the Golden Link together. I would sit with her during Friday night services when I was single and a teenager. Eva was my friend as well as my mother's friend.

Leonard was my mother in laws brother . Let me tell you a little about him . He had 4 social security numbers he was arrested many times. He stole tools and was a hoarder also. He would visit my mother in law and demand she give him money. She would give him cash.  One day he said he needed surgery , she gave him $20,000 and he went on a cruise with his live in girlfriend.  

Leonard lost his home  and moved in with Eva. He was suppose to help her. He moved his daughter in who was a drug addict Marcee.   Eva called me said money was missing from her checking account and Eva caught Marcee calling the bank and moving the money into her account. Eva said Marcee took closely to $150,000 out of her teachers retirement account. Jordan and I went down to 2nd street   to see Eva. We sat with her for 3 hours and when Marcee came home from her drug run we got up to leave I said "are you sure you don't want to leave with us". She refused Then I said  "ok we changed the password on your account and we'll keep the checks. If you want to write a check Jordan or I will pick you up and drive you over to our home to write it" That night Eva fell on the floor on purpose left to lay there 5 hours until Leonard came home and was taken to the hospital. My husband 2 days later had an cardiac arrest and was taken to the hospital also. He was in ICU and Eva was 2 floors above him. I visited Eva and when Leonard wasn't there Eva told me the story that Marcee got angry and pulled her out of the chair and hit her until she fell on the floor. At that point I said you are not going back there you are coming home with me.  Eva died shortly after that.  The cause of death was not very clear but somehow I got blamed

His daughter Marcee was a drug addict and my mother in law knew she stole money from Eva, pushed her down to break Eva's hip and didn't want Leonard feeling hurt if so she insisted she would not go to the police instead she sent her to a rehab. She also told Leonard she didn't want her back in a house she owned through Eva Will she forged her signature on. 

Marcee moved back in and all hell broke. Elizabeth Lakie Miller decided to evict everyone from the house and she begged me to do it. I refused her. The reason why I refused her was I just had open heart surgery and wasn't in any shape to deal with my mother in laws crisis. She said I was hateful for refusing. My surgery was very complicated I had died on the table during it. My mother in law did not once called me in the hospital or even visited me. Not even a card. 

My husband begged me and Elizabeth cried in front of him I said I don't want to be accused of anything because of this. And she promised me she would not.  I got my attorney Harry Sher to write up the papers and below is the eviction

When the sheriff was evicting Marcee's son who was fist fighting and finally got cuffed,  Marcee came home and punched me right in the chest where my stitches were. I ended up filing criminal charges on her and getting a stay away order on all of them for my family and my mother in law. Below are the papers.

Jordan and I were moving to South Florida and Jordan insisted we take her. Against my better judgement I bought her a condo in Century Village  and placed her name on the deed with mine and Jordan's. Big Mistake.

Being nice I got 4 seats at a Chabad in Boca Raton for the High Holidays. She didnt want to go. Before all this I took her to a kosher supermarket Glicks and she bought soup and chicken.  She called me during the service and she knew my phone would be off. When I got into the car to drive back to West Palm I had a voice mail she was sick and wanted to go to the hospital. I called her and told her I was going to be there in 20 mins to get ready and took the turnpike. When I got there she was sitting with her next door neighbor Clair talking in her nightgown.  I said get ready It took her 1 hour to get ready because she needed to put on make up

When we got to the hospital and the nurse took her in she told the nurse I hit her in the stomach.I opened her curtain and said I did what? Then she said I am kidding I knew this was the beginning of the same crap she did in Philadelphia. 

She complained  about the hospital and the doctor to me and that she wasn't treated properly She told the doctor I was hiding my husband's medicines. She told the doctors she didn't know why she was served a stay away order on my Marc when he was 3 years old for a sexual assault by trying to cut off his penis she said it was a joke but a knife cut on his penis was not a joke and her visitation with him was limited to 30 mins with me or Jordan present.  I just stopped her from seeing him since she was dangerous.

Two days before Jordan died he told me he was sorry for allowing her to accuse me of things to permit her to do me harm and he should have stood up to her. He then told me of all the abuse she did to him which included hitting him with pots and pans, throwing him out in the yard when it was snowing without a coat because he liked dogs so she told him to live like one. His Grandmother brought him back in and he developed pneumonia  

I found this in her records marked Jordan.  Jordan never received this or even knew about it

But Florida Family Services says she is normal and refused to look at the Philadelphia's Doctors records where she says her husband lives in a pantry and talks to her during breakfast and her sisters talk to her all night and tells her what to do?  Daughter of Sam?

My Mother in Law got angry at me when I began going through her accounts after she asked me to write a check as a birthday present for her nephew Scott. I did and as I began to bring her check book deposits and debits up to date I found several checks written out to Leonard and she knew their was a protective order on her for this extortion, He wanted $1,000 a week and I could not figure for what?

She told the Doctors I was stealing her money and to call Department of Family Services on me. They looked at my accounting and found nothing wrong.  My husband went to see his mother in the hospital where they found the cause of her pain was not from me punching her in her stomach but 3 stones in the gallbladder duct. She had claimed she had her gallbladder removed and she never did . It was said for pitty

She wanted to go home to my house after the gallbladder surgery but I sent her to a Kosher Nursing home called the Menorah Home. They could not wait until her 30 days she was entitled to by Medicare was up to get rid of her. But before she was discharged Jordan died. I went to the Menorah house to tell her and she said to me What did you do to kill him. That was it... I walked out .. The day of the funeral I called the home and asked them to get her ready to be picked up. She refused to attend her own son's funeral. Instead she called the police and told them I killed Jordan. 2 days later after she called the police she wanted to come to my house for me to take care of her. I refused. They said am I abandoning her I said no she has accused me of many things in the past few days I don't want her in my home, The Menorah home got an attorney Susan King and the real problems began.
